Charles Craig (1846 - 1931) | |
| A student at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, he painted with Peter Moran, younger brother of Thomas Moran, and heard stories from him of the American West. From 1865 to 1880, he painted Indian tribes along the Missouri River and then traveled to New Mexico, becoming the first major western artist to paint in Taos. |  Camino del Monte Sol
