Adelaide Morris Gardner (1881-1974)

Born in Lineville, Iowa on Sept. 22, 1881, Morris studied at the University of Colorado, UCLA, and in Paris. By 1919 she had moved to Los Angeles and then taught art at UCLA until 1938. During the early 1930s she taught briefly at the University of Hawaii. By the 1950s she had retired to Boulder, CO where she remained until her death on April 15, 1974. Member: Pacific AA; Calif.
