Marion Bullard was born in Middletown, New York. As a mature artist she painted in Woodstock, New York where she was a member of the Woodstock Art Association and the Association of Women Painters and Sculptors. Her work has been exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago and at Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C. among other prominent art institutions. Bullard is equally well-known for her illustrations in children's books, especially of animal wildlife.
